from day to night {how-to}

With the holiday season fast approaching many of us will be busy in the evenings with social events so we thought a refresher 'how-to' on transitioning your makeup from day to night was definitely a november must-do.

EYES
Add drama. Darken your eyeshadow on the outside corners of your eyes and along the eyebrow bone {blend well}. Add {or thicken} liquid eyeliner on eyelids. Adding one of this season's hot colours in a shimmer would definitely add a touch of glam. Don't forget to add another coat of mascara!

FACE
Strengthen your blush to highlight your cheekbones and add a subtle shimmer to the tops of your cheekbones for a healthy glow.

LIPS
Darken your lipstick. This season's hottest trend is red lips and there is a shade perfect for every skin colour available. To create the perfect smile make sure you moisturize before applying lipstick {we love Mor lip macarons loaded with vitamin e!}. TIP: adding a hint of plumping lipgloss to the center of your lips will give the appearance of fuller, sexier lips.

blossom beauty {how to}

{How to} keep your hair healthy this season.

With summer almost over and winter around the corner most of us will be faced with winter beauty challenges. One of those challenges is dry, frizzy hair. Here are some great tips and products to keep your hair soft, shiny and in control.

{washing}
Wash your hair less often. This one is tough for most of us. Our instincts are to wash our hair daily but it can strip your hair of needed nutrients and oils. Ideally washing your hair once a week is best but if you just can't do it {we understand!} then try washing your hair every second or third day.

{choose the right products}
Using the right products can make a big difference. You want a shampoo that is free of harsh chemicals and full of vitamins. Choose a conditioner that conditions without being heavy, that doesn't leave a residue and will protect your hair from harsh elements.

{add shine}
Adding an oil to your hair daily will improve dryness, add shine and eliminate frizz and fly-away's. You want an oil that is full of fatty acids, omega-3 oils, vitamins and antioxidants.

{treat and protect}
Deep treating your hair weekly or monthly {depending on your schedule} can restore the shine in your hair and help combat damage. Using a leave in treatment can repair and prevent split ends and protect against heat damage and free radicals.

{maintain}
Visit your hairdresser on a regular basis for a trim! Getting rid of dead ends will instantly improve the look of your hair and encourage growth.
